Air Albania shareholder Sinan Idrizi acquitted in Istanbul of a Turkish

Sinan Idrizi, president of Flamurtari and one of the shareholders of Air Albania's flight company, was acquitted by an Istanbul court on charges brought by a Turkish businessman.

Adnan Polat, the chairman of the board of the Polat group, the former president of the Galatasaray Sports Club, accused the Albanian businessman of being deceived by him and the latter owed him 3 million and 500 thousand euros, in 2017 under the promise to buy the concession company GFI Albania.

As quoted by the court: “I or my family can not cheat. "I demand freedom."

Regarding these accusations, Idrizi has previously expressed in the media: “The other party has been unable to meet its financial obligations. "He may have filed his lawsuit, I filed my lawsuit."

GFI Albania is a concession company awarded in 2013 to put an identifying pigment in the oil circulating in Albania and to carry out checks at gas supply points, assuming that such technology will fight oil smuggling. According to the report, this payment would be kept in an international bank account, while the review of the company was said to be done, if the exam result was positive, the money would go to the owners of the company, and if it was negative, it would 'returned to the company.
