Low temperatures these days have restored snowfall in the north and southeast of the country.
The Albanian Road Authority calls for extra care on the Fushë Arrëz-Kukës axis. Snowplows worked to clear the axis and circulation continued normally.
Whereas in Korça the thickness of the snow has reached from 2-5 cm in the plain areas and 10-17 cm in the mountainous areas. Dardhës area and Qafa e Qarrit had the highest rainfall intensity.
Contracting firms are on the ground working on road maintenance. There has been no blockage so far, but there is a call for increased caution of drivers in these areas as well.
