Rama: We lost yesterday's load of vaccines from the forces of the past who want to take the future hostage
Prime Minister Edi Rama is in the city of Gjirokastra where he visited a vaccination center for the elderly. From there, Rama said that due to yesterday's strike by Rinas controllers, the next deliveries of anti-COVID vaccines have not arrived in the country, which he has called unjustifiable and "painful" in a wartime, while warning that those behind the strike have undertaken to "challenge the wrong government and prime minister."
Rama's full statement:
What is intolerable and unjustifiable is that we lost yesterday’s load of vaccines and that is really painful in a time of war, when every second and every minute counts and when we are not leaving seconds and minutes untapped. But one thing is for sure, there is no chance of destructive forces and absolutely blind forces, forces of the past that want at all costs to take the future hostage to stop us in this process. They made the wrong calculations and undertook to challenge the most wrong government and prime minister .
