Minister Manastirliu said that currently the capacities can allow 250 thousand doses of vaccines from Pfizer.
She indicated that it will be the vaccine of the American company Moderna that will arrive in Albania, which will be stored at temperatures minus -20 degrees, while for vaccines of other companies the capacity is for 7 million doses, as no temperatures with minus are required. .
Currently the first doses of Pfizer vaccine arrived in Albania, about 100 of them are being kept in the cold rooms of IPH.
It is the third day of vaccination in the country, where behind the doctors are the field epidemiologists who are doing it. Behind them will be doctors from other districts in the country, followed by the elderly and those with health problems, as the most at risk categories.
