In Albania there were over 5500 reports of child pornography in the first two months of quarantine
During March and April alone, there were over 5,500 reports of child pornography in Albania. This data is provided by Altin Hazizaj, from the Center for the Protection of the Rights of the Child in Albania, following the Europol report on the growth and evolution of cybercrime during the pandemic.
"Cybercrime in Albania is very limited compared to EU or US countries, where it is much higher. So it does not impress me that the state police or other law enforcement agencies have so few requests regarding Facebook or other agencies.
