Investigations on the murder of Klodian Rasha are closed: the 25-year-old did

Investigations have been closed for the murder of 25-year-old Klodian Rasha by Nevaldo Hajdaraj. The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has communicated the accusation to the officer for Intentional Murder that he could have avoided.

According to the investigation of the prosecution, it turns out that Klodian Rasha was unarmed at the time he was shot dead, near his house on December 8. DNA analysis from the pistol found a few meters away from the scene does not turn out to be that of the 25-year-old, as there is no trace of him. It is a model of Turkish-sports pistols.

There was a confrontation with the officer and as Rasha tried to leave quickly, the officer shot him to death at a distance of 5 meters. The event sparked protests for a week and led to the ouster of Sander Lleshaj as Interior Minister.
