The Albanian Parliament today adopted the Resolution "On the approval of the usable definition of anti-Semitism, defined by the International Alliance for the Remembrance of the Holocaust".

This resolution proposed by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, and MP Blerina Gjylameti was approved with 111 votes in favor, no abstentions and no against.

US Ambassador Yuri Kim and EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca were also present at the session to discuss and vote on the draft resolution on anti-Semitism.

The resolution is based on the definition of this Alliance, which brings together governments and experts to advance values ​​reminiscent of the Holocaust, according to the 2000 Stockholm Declaration.
