Return from Greece with quarantine, Tomini: Health and life are worth more than

The health of citizens and maintaining the curve reduced by infections is more important than elections. This is what Deputy Minister of Health Eugena Tomini says in an interview with ABC, who was asked about the decision of the technical committee of Experts, which has aroused a lot of criticism from immigrants from Greece and Northern Macedonia.

According to the decision from Tuesday, April 20, every emigrant entering Albania from Greece or Northern Macedonia will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine. But for expert Eugena Tomini, decision-making has nothing to do with elections.

She said:

'It is very important that public health prevails over any other vital element such as elections, in this case it coincides with the problem of elections and it is absolutely related to the political part because experts are health experts in their field. 'Their movement is not deprived, but currently since the epidemiological criteria are at low levels due to the circulation of mutations in other countries that have an increasing tendency, we do not want this situation to be affected by the currents of this time'.

Tomini also criticizes the rallies during the campaign and says that the danger will be seen in the following with the numbers of infected:

"The danger will be seen in the following. They will have the following impact, as the physical distancing has been broken, the gatherings have been reflected, we have seen mass gatherings within the elections ".
