Medicines for Covid that must be given by doctors in Albania according to the protocol
Despite the fact that so far there has been a treatment protocol for patients with Covid, cases where family doctors have abused have often been reported, giving the infected antibiotics even in cases where they have had very mild symptoms.
But with drug reimbursement, doctors ’prescriptions will be more controllable. The GP will issue prescriptions according to the stage of the virus the infected patient is going through and only with this prescription can they get the list of reimbursable medicines.
Here are the medications recommended by your GP when your Covid patient is in a mild to moderate stage:
Treatment for the mild stage according to the protocol:
Paracetamol 0.5g every 6 hours or Tachipirine 1g twice daily
Herbal syrup if you have a mild cough
Asorbic acid 500 mg 3 ties 1 per 7
Piridoxine 3 bonds 1
Tiamine 3 ties 1 per 7 tea
Treatment for the moderate stage according to the protocol:
Doctors say that regardless of the protocol each patient has his own clinic. In the moderate stage where the patient has a cough or shortness of breath always and the temperature lasts for several days then the use of antibiotics begins.
Antibiotike ,azitromicine 500 mg ,levofloxacin 500 mg
Cortisone by mouth when there is breathing and temperature 6-7 days
In cases where the patient with covid being treated at home has an oxygen level of less than 94%, then the patient through 127 is sent to Covid hospitals.
