Greece continues to hold Kapshtica closed: New deadline set for those leaving Albania
The Kapshtica border crossing continues to be closed to Albanians. It has been decided that the border crossing point will remain closed until 19 April. Greek police authorities announce that until April 19, the exit from Albania and the entrance to Greece will be closed. While leaving Greece and entering the Albanian territory will be allowed, but with a time limit: From 06:00 to 22:00, for all citizens and vehicle categories.
"Kapshtica Border Police Station: Greek Police authorities, following the measures taken by the Greek government to cope with the situation created due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have notified the Albanian side to extend the deadline for blocking the Border Crossing Point Kapshtica, until 19.04.2021 Until this date, the exit from Albania and the entrance to Greece through this crossing point, continues to be closed.
"While leaving Greece and entering our country, will be allowed from 06:00 to 22:00, for all citizens and vehicle categories."
