Lawyer of Rinas controllers speaks: 24 were escorted to the police, 4 were released
The lawyer of AlbControl controllers has given details from their escort to the Police. The lawyer told the media that about 24 people were escorted to the Police and 4 of them were released after being interrogated as there are no charges filed.
"About 24 controllers were accompanied. Were accompanied last night at 12:00 p.m. Some of the escorts were taken from the hotel near Albcontrol where they were staying and others who were called by phone and presented voluntarily. Of these 24, 4 have just left the police. According to those who came out, the controllers were questioned. They gave an explanation for the situation. "For these four who have come out, there are no charges raised", said the lawyer.
From yesterday morning, at 09:25 until today, the work has been suspended by the air control group of AlbControl. Employees are demanding a payback before the pandemic even though the number of flights has halved.
