'Sea' in The Hague: The first reaction comes from Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis
During the meeting with the Cypriot and Egyptian presidents, the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis also spoke about the Albania-Greece agreement, to take the issue of the maritime border to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. According to Greek media, Mitsotakis said this was a way for serious and responsible states to resolve their disputes.
"We have agreed that since we can not resolve our disputes over the demarcation of the Maritime Zones, we are ready to address the International Court of Justice. "This is how serious and responsible states resolve their disputes."
Two days ago at the press conference in Tirana between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, the Prime Minister said that they had formalized the decision to take the Sea issue to The Hague.
Greece does not yet have such a solution with Turkey claiming its territory to seek hydrocarbons in the Eastern Mediterranean. According to the Greek Prime Minister, Turkey is openly violating international law with actions that Mitsotakis called: Imperial Fantasy!
