He sexually abused the student. The court gives the decision for Abaz Doga, benefits from the shortened trial
Abas Doga, the guard of the 9-year school 'Azem Hajdari' in Kamza, who was found guilty of sexually abusing a 15-year-old student, will be sentenced to 12 years in prison, including three other young people. He benefited from the shortened trial after being sentenced to 18 years in prison.
The decision was given today by the Court of Tirana. Prosecution investigations have shown that the former school guard used some footage of the minor, blackmailing other school girls.
The event took place in March 2019. Abaz Doga harassed the 15-year-old and threatened to tell her family that she would leave the house with her friends if she did not go to him. The 65-year-old continued to be blackmailed even after the abuse. The minor decided not to respond to his threats anymore, but he in revenge wrote her name on the walls of the neighborhood palaces as well as writing offensive words about her. Abaz Doga lived near the house of the 15-year-old.
The decision on the former school guard was not the only one made today. The court also convicted juveniles involved in the sex scandal.
