Will they sit down? Rector Artan Hoxha explains the students' request for tuition fees
Teaching at universities starts on October 2 and will take place alternately between the online platform and the auditorium. The Rector of the University of Tirana, Artan Hoxha, clarified regarding the study fees that they are defined in the Pact for the University and there will be no halving of them.
"Regarding the beginning of the new academic year, one of the discussions at the conference was how we would cope with the situation. To my knowledge all institutions are committed to having platforms different from those we have worked with before. What is happening in all universities of the country, is the creation of a platform, which guarantees that the process takes place normally. What is happening these days is that we are being treated in the use of the system, professors, administrators and students that the academic start to find us prepared. They will have halving, support for students in need. The registration fee for the second cycle of study will be 20 thousand ALL. There is a student demand, and there will be no halving of the fee, as it means blocking the university. "The second cycle of studies everywhere in the world is paid more", said Hoxha.
